Jumpin’ Jack Flash asked:

I know most of these guys start out at minimum wage retail or food service worker positions, but what ever becomes of them by the time they reach 40? Outside of prison, welfare, and the graveyard, what type of jobs do most of these guys wind up with eventually. They certainly will not be working minimum wage jobs at 40. Think of guys you know who dropped out of high school in the late 1970s and 1980s, what kind of jobs do they do today? I’m just curious, thanks!

Nick P asked:

I have a 79 F150 with a 9in. lift and 38.5in Super Swamers. It has the 351M and the differentials are all stock. I’m headed to a mud bog tomorrow that is a competition style setup and the fastest time through the mud hole wins. Should I run through it in 4wd low or high for the best time? What do you think?

What is reasonable time for a high school athlete to run 4 miles in ?

cocovan asked:

This is simply a debate I had with a co-worker. I used to jog, or run – however you choose to define it – when I was in high school. I stated I did four miles in 30 minutes, and my co-worker stated that was a very fast time. I disagreed. So what is “descent” time for a mediocre high school athlete to run four miles in ?

m6 asked:

On a hot summer day in the state of Washington while kayaking, I saw several swimmers jump from a railroad bridge into the Snohomish River below. The swimmers stepped off the bridge, and I estimated that they hit the water 1.00 later.

1. How high was the bridge?
2.How fast were the swimmers moving when they hit the water?
3.What would the swimmer’s drop time be if the bridge were twice as high?
