sara asked:
I am 34 weeks along and my best friend has been wailing on me for weeks and says she does not care what she says to me b/c I am not “high risk” and the only time to avoid stress is during labor so she feels her horrible comments to me is ok. What do you guys think?

i was told that minor stress is ok but major stress is bad for you & the baby. I’d tell her to talk to someone else..even if the stress won’t affect the baby its just annoying for you in these last few weeks before your bub arrives. It’s your time to be selfish and put yourself and the baby ahead of your friends needs
Are you sure that she’s a “friend”? I would never take the slightest chance of injuring an unborn child just to “get it off my chest”. Plenty of time for that later– risk- free. Congratulations on your upcoming blessing. Don’t take any chances with baby’s health. Stress can trigger labor.
