It really depends on the school you go to and how good you are.
For schools like The Art Institutes and Academy of Art you will have to choose between one or the other and masters programs are only in certain locations.
I don’t think a masters in fashion exists at this time; otherwise I’m sure FIDM (The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) would offer it.
Your best bet is to get a bachelors degree and get a job. After you have work experience you can go back and get your masters.
No one will hire a person with a masters degree and no work experience.
I would highly suggest Graphic Design because the job market is much more vast for a graphic designer. My aunt got a Fashion degree and she ended up becoming a graphic designer because it’s so incredibly hard to get a job in the fashion industry.
At my university you chose a Major and a Sub Major. So pick what you’re most passionate about at the major and then the one you liked second as your sub. I’m not sure if all universities work this way though.
Or you could do a double degree.
