My mom has high blood and cholesterol and she is taken stuff for them. But I hear people said, after a long period of taken all that Med. you can develope Diabetic. If this true? If yes are there way to help with this.

My MIL has diabetes and I just found out that she can’t keep her blood sugar any lower that 430. I know this is really high and I’m wondering what could happen to her? How does one “die” from diabetes
