Gas is projected to soon be at $4 gallon. Oil is at an all time high at $75 per barrel? Will you change cars?

Many experts are now saying that gas may reach even $5 per gallon in the next year or two. They say this will happen because unlike back in the 70′s, other countries now need the oil as well. If gas reaches $5 gallon, will you:

a) Go against the trend and buy a large SUV because they will now be cheaper to buy.

b) You have a large SUV and refuse to let gas prices interfere with your lifestyle and will continue to drive it.

c) Large SUVs are really more for image than need for the average person. People who drive them are arrogant.

d) You are tired of paying excessive prices at the pump and will try to either reduce driving or get a car with better gas mileage.

e) I drive an economy car already and plan to keep the one I have, or get another economy car.

At the mud drags, should I run in 4wd high or 4wd low for the best time?

I have a 79 F150 with a 9in. lift and 38.5in Super Swamers. It has the 351M and the differentials are all stock. I’m headed to a mud bog tomorrow that is a competition style setup and the fastest time through the mud hole wins. Should I run through it in 4wd low or high for the best time? What do you think?

Why are we all tolerating the high fuel prices? Where can we go or what can we do to change the prices?

RanchLady asked:

We are like lambs going to the slaughter with these high fuel prices. I own two diesel pickups and one gas car. Diesel is the dredge from making gasoline. Nothing special is done to it, yet it is higher than gasoline. We need to take a stand about these high prices. Some people actually cannot afford to drive to work because they cannot afford the cost. I spend over $100 on each pickup fill up. Can’t sell the trucks because they are used in my work. Has anyone noticed on the diesel pumps the sign that says “Any diesel vehicle made after 2006 cannot use this diesel fuel”? Next time you go to the pump, look for that sign that is right on the pump. I saw a sign with a stick figure bent over and a nozzle in it’s a**. Don’t you think thats what we are all getting? Anyone have any suggestions?
