We should have let Iraq occupy their country when they invaded! Saudis are paying a whopping 64 cents per gallon! Time to up our export costs to other countries? Do we even export anything? Most of what we send out is donations! (aid) Just about everything else, we import.

Not only is he thanking them right this very minute. He’s literally holding hands with and kissing their princes. We could not have done worse in America if we had put one of these Saudi princes in the White House 8 years ago.

I dont think bush is a stupid man, and it would be ******* to raise gas at this time, to reps, so who benefits, the dems, think about it, and was Hillary trying to send this country a clear message about Obama

no, actually he thanked clinton for the infamous montana and alaska land grab, zoning millions of acres in montana epa protected and unable to drill for domestic production. you can also thank the pelosi reid regime for constant grandstanding regarding elimination of energy tax credits for new oil exploration for those…”nasty” oil companies. the saudis had little to nothing to do with it.

i agree with the food comments. it cost more to produce so we should charge accordingly. we get alot from mexico, canada and venezuala to. all the more reason to be self sufficent unti we get an alternative on line.

    Bush is a joke.

‘When Bush first ran for president in 2000, he criticized the Clinton administration for high fuel prices and said the president must “jawbone” oil producing nations and persuade them to drop rates. At that time, oil was nearing $28 a barrel — less than a quarter what it is now.’

‘Saudi Arabia’s leaders made clear Friday they see no reason to increase oil production until customers demand it, apparently rebuffing President Bush amid soaring U.S. gasoline prices.’

    ‘MINISTER THINKS BUSH ‘WAS SATISFIED’
As a result, Hadley suggested the White House was satisfied with — or at least accepted — the Saudi response.’

OK little kid, maybe this time you’ll learn something instead of posting BS and lies. Gas is high because both Hillary and Obama has said they were going to take the profits from the oil companies so their wanting to make as much as they can just in case either Hillary or Obama gets elected. We know they won’t get elected but we aren’t the oil companies.

If Bush had ANYTHING to do with the cost of gas, then how do you explain that the UK gas costs twice as much as America’s?

Read and learn kid, your democratic leaders are the ones doing it to the US not Bush.
