Because Obama is a nut. You are correct when you say he is empty.

Whoever told this guy to run for president should be castrated.

The fact that people are falling for it is amazing to me.
Like mcdonalds commercials that show athletes eating big macs. Pure BS.
I guess people will believe whatever is fed to them, sheep.

That’s true. Obama has also been overconfident also. He needs to get his act in gear if he wants to win. He should win.

I’m not an Obama fan. But there is no way that I’ll ever vote for John McCain. I can’t stand him.

Maybe because despite the economic downturn in this country, Americans are smart enough to know that a candidate with NO EXPERIENCE who wants to raise taxes and spend more than Bush is NOT the answer to this country’s problems.

“Change” isint a good thing if your changing to the wrong direction!

    As of 08/19/08

    Obama is 46%
    McCain is 43%

in most polls….Obama is still leading.

when people are angry they vote democrat

when people are scared they vote republican

good or bad, right or wrong, it’s as simple as that.

  8. Hippie - February 21st, 2009 at 12:46 am

..and factor in the ‘Bradley Effect’ and you have McCain with a 16 point lead.

  9. Annie - February 22nd, 2009 at 4:56 am

Because Obama is inexperienced and Pelosi is blocking progress and hurting Americans.

  10. ? - February 24th, 2009 at 6:19 am

McCain at least has a plan. The democrats just want to go on vacation.

Polls are stupid and mean nothing. No one will know who has the lead until the election. Polls are only worth anything if one of the candidates has a blowout lead. They only polled 1089 “likely voters” out of about 200000000 likely voters, and claim to have a margin of error of only 3%.

I don’t know who the next pres will be, but I do know that polls like this are a waste of time. I have been polled over the phone before and because I am on the do not call list and they call me anyhow, I give BS info every time.

Polls are useless fodder for morons who write speculation pieces. I can find just as many polls that give Obama the lead, so which is correct? NONE OF THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME.

Oh stop it. Obama does not make a mole on the @ss of Carter. Reagan’s unemployment rate matched Carter’s after working on it for eight years and he left us with a huge deficit. Bush is following the same pattern. Anyone but obama would be kicking McCain’s @ss. my fellow Democrats screwed the pooch by nominating the idiot.

  13. Mortimer Obituary - February 28th, 2009 at 5:16 pm

thats why i dont know why bob barr isnt leading in the polls.

First off, we could be in much worse straits economically, like the great depression which we are nowhere near. Secondly, Obama does not have the credentials to be a President and the people are beginning to “get this”.

  15. rhsaunders - March 3rd, 2009 at 6:04 am

Because Obama’s positions would make these problems worse. Obama proposes to levy taxes on petroleum production. This will reduce gasoline prices — how? The man is a certifiable idiot.

  16. clintonbill39 - March 6th, 2009 at 6:42 am

Because obama has yet to send out the tire gauges to everyone to put air in their tires.

  17. libsticker - March 7th, 2009 at 4:33 am

The democrats knew they picked the wrong guy when all the Super Delegates were brow beaten into going for Obama or they faced a party split. The have tried to salvage it anyway, which is hopeless. Had they had the nads to say, we need to beat the Republicans and went with Hillary. We Republicans would be hiding under our beds and waiting 4 years for another shot.

  18. Jake Rather - March 9th, 2009 at 9:41 am

Because this is the democrat party.

  19. Janelle P - March 11th, 2009 at 5:46 am

Because he has said time and time again that he wants off shore drilling and at the end that will help the gas prices. I dont know why they call
Mccain Mcsame if Obama is the one that wants everything the same as Bush has been doing it for eight years. You people are truly brainwashed and I honesty feel sorry for you’ll Obama followers:P
