How do I know how much seat time I need in high school?

My teachers say I need 7 semesters of high school to graduate, which is called seat time. We follow are state requirements. (I live in Missouri) When I look it up there nothing about seat time or how much I really need. How do I find how much seat time I need?

    Ive never heard of seat time. Sometimes teachers like to make up things for some reason. Try looking it up on google so that you can be sure. If they dont have anything about it, then maybe your teachers are mistaken about it, or maybe it is called something else.

    In Virginia, i think that we high schoolers need 8 semesters of school to graduate unless a person is going for a GED, or have a really good excuse for why they weren’t in school.
