How do liberals feel now that Bush gave the best interview of all time high?

all time high
the_wife_from_7th_heaven asked:

He was smart, funny, brilliant and intellegent. He was warm, friendly, and was willing to help out Obama, even though Obama rejected his help.

I speak for all Americans when I say I wish Bush could have ran a third term, fact.

He looked like the same old moron. And you don’t speak for all Americans. Youi speak only for yourself.

  2. Becki - May 17th, 2009 at 10:20 pm

    Bush-isms
    Iraq War
    Recession

And you want this idiot running your country?
I must say, Im honestly shocked.

How many accounts do you get suspended?

They will never admit that he was brilliant, they will continue to bash him til he’s out the door.

I totally agree, I would love to have George stick around.

They cant stand it when a conservative is right.

  8. Da Diva #9~~Steeler Nation - May 24th, 2009 at 12:26 pm

He had to wait until he leaves office to give his “best interview”?

    Figures.

  9. mustagme - May 25th, 2009 at 3:36 pm

I too wish Bush could have run for a 3rd term. My portfolio and income expanded under him, along with deep tax cuts. It was only when the Democracts came to power in the House and Senate did things go to pot.

It feel wonderful to know hes going.
Few people watched it, it was on Fox, only the far right wing watches that anymore.
Please don’t speak for me on Bush’s third term. You’d be choking.

  11. Killer Queen - May 29th, 2009 at 9:13 pm

I don’t think I want him for a third term but I don’t think he is as bad as most think. The same people who can’t list any of Obama’s accomplishments, other than he got elected, are the same ones who say Bush lied and got us into a useless war. Complete misunderstanding of reality.

I’m just amazed at the amount of hatred there still is in the country. Hatred and hatred alone elected a dork who isn’t really sure what color he is or where exactly Guantanamo is.

  13. BROOOOOKLYN - June 2nd, 2009 at 9:21 pm

Actually, you don;t speak for all Americans, you speak for 25% max. And then take into account that of that 25% most of them are against the idea of a President taking a third term

Lastly, are you sure we were watching the same interview?
He was speaking nonsensically half the time.
It was perhaps one his worst media moments ever.

  14. subwlimnuflik - June 4th, 2009 at 4:54 pm

Speak for yourself. He could run a dozen times and, I still wouldn’t vote for him. I didn’t vote for him the last two times I’m not about to start now.

  15. kindatired - June 4th, 2009 at 7:37 pm

Obama rejected his help? Within hours of the Bush interview, Obama was asking Bush to go ahead and request the second $350billion part of the Tarp funding. Today, both the Bush and Obama administrations are holding joint Homeland Security drill.

You’re a partisan. And your male ********* is still showing.

  16. Planet - June 8th, 2009 at 3:06 am

He was “smart, funny, brilliant and intelligent” because he’s so happy to be giving up the job. He didn’t show those qualities much in the past 8 years. Obama did NOT reject his help. Get your facts straight.

  17. PhilaBuster - June 12th, 2009 at 4:39 am

Deacon: She speaks for me and many others. Personally, I think you have misunderestimated the man.

Edit; Brooo: Are we back to 25% rRepublicans again? Obama somehow won over half of voters who voted against Obama?

  18. Jesse L - June 14th, 2009 at 3:10 am

Don’t speak for all americans. In fact you are probably british and think that you are funny by harassing people with your absurd views that i believe you really don’t even believe yourself. Get a life and a hobby. I have read your posts before and they make absolutely no sense with no informed opinion at all. So do us all a favor and die from a horrible disease or step out into traffic during rush hour. That should do it. Have a wonderful day.

  19. Bran E - June 16th, 2009 at 6:53 pm

Bush has a 24 percent approval rating, and you think he would have won election to a third term?

  20. Private Deek - June 20th, 2009 at 2:03 am

    Close to your masterpiece.

While I miss the old boards, you have adapted to these quite nicely.

Here’s the problem with Liberals, and people with Bush Derangement Syndrome: they refuse to look at the situation squarely.

When I (correctly) point out to Liberals that they are just about 100% dependent on the news media for their information, they bristle with resentment and haughtily claim they make up their own minds. Ha! This is the depth of self deception of the Liberal: he only receives the information the news media pumps out, and it’s usually terribly biased. How can they make up their own minds when the news media doesn’t tell them (the whole) truth?

I remember a couple years back Bush and Tony Blair were giving a press conference from the White House. One of them was stumbling over his words, appeared somewhat disoriented, rambled on and obviously kept losing his train of thought.

That person…… was Tony Blair. It was so odd to see Bush as the eloquent one. Bush was razor sharp, and Blair seemed like he had taken too many pills or something.

So yes, I agree with you. Bush can be amazingly charming. He can be witty, eloquent, and very direct. Even his detractors admit he’s a very likeable guy.

  22. Bein' cheeky, are ye?! - June 23rd, 2009 at 4:41 pm

LAME…you sound as clueless & narcissistic as he is.
& you certainly don’t speak for me, the majority of Americans, or the rest of the world’s population for that matter.

Thank God 2 terms(!!) is the limit…& that was WAAAAYYYYY too long for him to be in…he has left massive destruction in his wake.

(& it’s obvious you’re an instigator…having a good laugh are ya? you have too much time on your hands)

  23. Information Police - June 26th, 2009 at 1:06 pm

If you are saying he was high, then, yes, I agree.

  24. Capricorn12 - June 29th, 2009 at 5:48 pm

As a liberal, I find it pathetic that his best speech is one that comes at the end of his term.

    C’mon. That was too easy.

    EDIT: Kengem

“I’m just amazed at the amount of hatred there still is in the country. Hatred and hatred alone elected a dork who isn’t really sure what color he is or where exactly Guantanamo is.”

That comment alone was hateful. He doesn’t know what color he is? How ignorant. What about a guy that’s not sure of his gender?

    “May 27, 2004—Nashville, Tenn.
“I want to thank my friend, Sen. Bill, first for joining us today. ? He married a Texas girl, I want you to know. (Laughter.) Karyn is with us. A West Texas girl, just like me”

  25. Sarah Palin = DUNCE - June 30th, 2009 at 7:08 am

He’s the same old idiot to me. No change.

  26. JustinB The mendicant of Arc - July 3rd, 2009 at 9:55 am

The only thing I gathered from that interview is he is still utterly and shamelessly in denial.

  27. liberator_rev - July 5th, 2009 at 5:09 pm

What on earth are you smoking?!?
If he told you himself that he was an incompetent, dishonest jerk, you wouldn’t believe him, because you would finally have to come to grip with the fact that you were a fool for supporting him, and you are still a fool for not recognizing the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

As Karl Rove said at one of his birthday parties: “As people do better, they start voting like Republicans – unless they have too much education (i.e. are intelligent) and vote Democratic. -”
