lumpy asked:
everyday for about 4 years I have felt high, but I’ve had no drugs or alcohol. In the last year it’s escalated, I’m now experiencing sensitivity to light and noises. My eyes feel tired.Slight pain in my jaws. Seen Doc’s had (mri’s) they all said I’m fine except for acid reflux. But I still feel like crap. Can anyone solve this mystery?

Have you had blood tests done? or just MRI?
maybe you need a depresion med
This is not a good thing. Have your doctor run blood tests if he hasn’t already. He might be able to subscribe you to a medication for that. Good luck.

It could anything from poor nutrition to the beginnings of Schizophrenia. You will have to do some asking around at clinics, etc. Maybe medical web sites have ask- us links you could make use of. Try them all.
High in a bad way or a good way?
It could be depression.
It could be stress.
It could be a cotton pickin’ mess.
dont know but please send me a list of everything you drink eat and breathe so i can have the same problem
Has any doctor ever ordered a Electra Encephlagram (EEG) for you. That is where they take electrodes and glue them onto you scalp and check you brain waves? It almost sounds like what I used to have. I have been diagnosed with Epilepsy. Could it be that you are having some type of seizure. You need to see a neurologist. Or could you have some kind of Migraines? Please see a Neurologist soon. I wish you the best of luck. Please let me know how things turn out. I am really interested.
Some diseases and conditions have similar symptoms. The very best thing will be to change doctors. A different doctor will hopefully look at it from a different angle.
It also sounds like vertigo, but a good doctor should know. Read up on the condition which needs a doctor’s visit. See if you have the symptoms and write them down, so you will be informed before you see the new doctor.
How much caffiene are you getting? Maybe you are hypersensitive to caffiene, which of course is in coffee, tea, cola, chocolate, Excedrin….to name a few. Does it feel like your heart is racing? Do you know if the dr. tested your thyroid level (blood test)? Hyperthyroidism, or over-active thyroid, could cause symptoms like you describe. When you say you are “high” all the time, do you mean as in “euphoric” or just hyper? Manic-depression can cause you to feel euphoric, but it is also associated with periods of feeling very depressed as well. I suggest you might see another dr. or have a longer discussion about this with your current dr.
