It seems ever since bush became president alot of events have happen that make you think what the hell. Starting with hurricane katrina, I know in Georgia two high boys were jailed for **** charges, Mike Vick, O.J, Genna 6, Don Imus I’m sure there more that I’m not aware of.

    I think racism is going down. It’s just getting more publicity. This is, after all, the age of information. You cant sneeze without somebody photographing it or writing about it.

    Racism, believe it or not is at an all time low in our nations history. Look into any school or restaurant window and you will see people of all colors and religions going about their business.
    Unfortunately bad news sells, so the media is quick to pick up on the isolated incidents that will always pop up as long as human beings are involved. Then come the vultures who make money by pounding the racism drums so everyone will buy their paper or radio show or even give a vote.
    Just ask Reverends Sharpton or Jackson who laugh all the way to the bank.

    it still lives, more’s the pity, but i would not say, at all, that it’s at an all-time high. i think in the US anyhow, all time before now has been worse.

    Minorities are coming into power and fixing mistakes…
    That causes problems for the powers that be.

    So there has been nore and more of an effort to enact new era “Jim Crow” laws. They are using their power (media, print, politics, and celebrity to influence how we see and how other see us.

    But we can fight it.

    we need to continue to grow through education and not through media and poular forms of quick money

    START READNG!!

    Please explain what racism has to do with crimes committed by OJ, Michael Vick, etc.
    Are you saying it is ok to commit a crime based on race?
    A criminal is a criminal — it does not matter if his color is purple, orange, or sky blue. Punish the criminals and get them off the streets.
