the high beams on my 97 mercury sable are stuck on all the time even whith the switch and car off.any ideas?

    It need a DRL module (daytime running light). Very common occurance, not overly expensive, roughly $100ish depends, on the car of course, and easy to replace.

    your passing light switch is stuck ,,always on,,its on the signal switch,,which is part of the combination switch
