Top K asked:
What should I expect the first time I smoke marijuana? I’ve been drunk, is getting high the same feeling? Do you get impaired like you do when you get drunk? Is there a chance of negative affects? If so what?

don’t do it. It’s addictive and REALLY BAD for you. Sweety don’t.
Paranoid, hungry, tired…in that order.
Oh, and you might find things amusing during all of that.
you should expect to lose LOTS of brain cells.
heart starts to beat fast
head feels light/heavy
tingling all over your body
increased hearing
hungerrrrr*
sensitivity to light/loud noises.
stuff is more funny
loving feeling
euphoria*
getting high is like faster than getting drunk
feels great, its not as bad as people say it is.
You could unlock the doors of paranoia and you will stay in that state forever. No cure for it buddy!
HUNGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why would you ask this kind of question? You can do what you want but I find this really tacky!
Getting high is a lot different from getting drunk. You might feel a little sleepy, your eyesight will get a little hazy, and you’ll feel very relaxed. Funny things will be 10x funnier and iTunes visualizer will suddenly be a lot more interesting. Your short-term memory will be affected too, and you might forget what you’re talking about in the middle of a sentence — but that’s sort of funny too. You might get really thirsty (cottonmouth) and hungry (munchies), so have some snacks around.
The most negative side effect is that you’ll probably cough while smoking (if you do it right, anyway). Obviously your motor skills will be slightly lacking. It’s really not an intense high though, and it will start fading after about 45 minutes.
To be honest, there aren’t really any side-effects from smoking weed. Doctors recently disproved the claim that it can cause lung cancer, and even suggested that THC (the chemical that gets you high) can help prevent cancer. Over the long-term, it can impair your memory, but that’s only if you smoke a lot over a long amount of time.
My recommendation is that you don’t drink and smoke at the same time — that can give you the spins and make you dizzy. Be in a comfortable place, turn on the TV or some music, and have drinks and snacks nearby. Have fun
Edit: It is not addictive in the slightest, so please ignore the above answer. And there’s no way to “unlock” paranoia — yes, you might get paranoid (that usually only happens if you get mids, or mediocre weed, so always try to smoke the good stuff), but it goes away as you lose your high. It’s not permanent and to claim that it is is pretty ridiculous.
Dont be brainwashed into thinking that marijuana is worse then alcohol and that it is so bad. People will throw out how pot kills your brain cells and it will give cancer and make you stupid and blah blah blah. But when you mention alcohol they dont tell you how alcohol also kills the brain cells and you easily over dose on it and die and how it highly addicting and it will kill your liver. My grandma died from being an alcoholic at age 56! Most dont smoke pot like they smoke cigarettes so very unlikely to get cancer. Pot will make you laugh at everything it will also make you paranoid and tired and youll get the munchies Pot is a great stress reliever other then that whats the worst that could happen? Would you let it be your gateway drug or will you just stick to getting high every now and then?
The first time or two or three you smoke marijuana you might have no effects at all. It takes a while for your body to ‘get used to it’. So when it does hit you, it comes as sort of a surprise, and it might even be a little frightening.
It’s a little bit like being drunk, but I find it much more pleasant. It distorts your time sense so you don’t realize how much time has gone by. Things seem funnier to you and sometimes you laugh a lot at a joke. Music sounds much better and you find you can concentrate on it and hear all the different instruments, etc. If you watch a movie or TV, you find yourself getting much more involved in it. You have trouble holding a conversation and it affects your short-term memory so you often lose track of conversations. Food tastes really good and often you have an almost uncontrollable urge just to nibble and taste things. (‘The munchies’).
Marijuana is not good for you, but it’s not nearly as harmful as alcohol. It really won’t hurt you if you use it in moderation, and if you stay indoors and quiet until it wears off. You don’t want to drive a car under the influence, or even walk through a city where you have to cross streets with traffic. If you were smoking at school between classes, for instance, and you got high and then you had to go to a class, that would be a disaster.
But if you’re at home or the home of a friend, with people you know and trust, and you can just sit there and sort of react to stuff, you’ll be fine.
