i was bullied from year 7 to 11 at high school, even when the head said it was unacceptable for there to be any bullying at year 10 level. it’s been 5 years now and i’ve travelled the world, doing well at uni and made great friends whereas the bully has gone nowhere with his life. yet i don’t know why but i can’t seem to move on and stop being gloomy about it.

Those years are very formative years to have undergone such treatment. These types of memories are not easily put aside despite your obvious present success. Seek a counselor to help you sort thru these feelings. It could be a really good friend, pastor, teacher, coach, family member who you feel comfortable with. Maybe just talking it out will help you to put it aside.
You have made your choices to be the person you are today. Make choices which will continue to bring you happiness. Peace.
I was bullied all my life because i was diffrent. I dint try to be cool or fit in i just wanted to be me! I moved on by getting good freinds and learning o stick up for myself. You can move by knowing how much better you are than them. Try contacting them in a few years and explain how great your life is than ask what theirs is like but hang up mid mconverstion so they are talking to no-one. mean i know but payback is a ***** right?
