Why do you think the current wave of deletions of both questions and answers has reached an all time high?

I’m not blaming cons or libs on this but I’m blaming Yahoo. It seems if enough whiners get together, Yahoo dumps a question or an answer. Sure, some need to go but so many are perfectly valid but get the axe. It’s getting to be a real pain. And appealing is near impossible.

Yahoo Answers is becoming a damn joke. Hey, what the hell, delete this.

    I don’t know if that’s true. I seem to average about 1 a week, and that hasn’t changed in a while.

    People have gotten more concerned over the amount of outright **** and spite being shown here, and so they’re reporting more. There’s a easy way to avoid being reported. Be respectful of others. Don’t insult them. Always argue issues and ideas. Stay away from personalities, because that’s when it’s easy to slip into insulting another user.

    Threatening to kill someone usually is a good reason for a question to get deleted!

    I feel the same way you do. I have found excellent advice on YA and it has pulled me through when I needed it to. Unfortunately anonymity gives whiners, trolls and plain jerks the chance to vent their frustrations and post all sorts of absolutely stupid questions.

    Take the good and ditch the bad. After a while you stop noticing dumb questions, much less answering them. YA is a good site, it depends on people like us to keep it that way.

    Tell me about it yesterday I asked a simple question about if you say merry xmas or happy holidays and I got removed. Cant understand that one. But for the rest the demorats **** the truth. They are like kinder gardeners. Also don’t say you don’t like gays or blacks because you will get booted. But it was okay for bamas wife to say she hated whites. And they all elected them to office.

    No I would say Labor Day weekend was the all time high that I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been on this since it started.

    37 violations for questions and answers

    16 account suspensions.

    it seems to be an indication that the free speech we have enjoyed is about to become strictly limited. soon differing opinions will be called ‘hate crimes’ and people will fear expressing their opinions at all.
